Hello. 

I just want to ask if this television (KDL-40EX520) supports trasferring a programme list using a USB device or do you have to set channels manualy on tv ?

Hi there

If this feature is going to be anywhere, it will be in the Digital Setup Menu.  Checking the manual, its not their.  So unfortunately you do not have this feature and has to be done manually.

And thi feature can be added via firmware update right ? Because i saw that i dont have the latest firmware.

Hi there

If the feature has not already been added, I would say the chances of having this is next to zero Im afraid.  The TV model is 2011 and any type of developement would have been finished.  Its likely that any future firmware updates are only to address minor issues (bugs etc).

If your not on the latest firmware, its always advisable to update it.
