AACS Key ?

Ihave read that i will have to update the AACS Key to carry on using my blue - ray player on my Vaio, otherwise it will stop working. Can anybody tell me if this is true, and if so what do i do ? I would be gratefull if you can help with this question. RGDS Noel.

Hi Noel,

Updates to the Blu-Ray software are issued automatically by Vaio Update as long as you have the original OEM Operating System installed. If you have changed the OS you must download the updates manually.

Which Vaio do you have?
What Version of WinDVD BD do you have installed?

Hi there, thanks for the quick reply. My Vaio model is VGN -AR31S, The BD OPTICAL DRIVE IS MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ-21OS ATA, i am still using the original OEM operating system. No problems so far i just thought i better ask the question. Thank you very much for your help.
