FZ11L built in webcam

It's been misbehaving ever since i got this damn laptop, and quite frankly, i'm sick of having to go and get my old webcam whenever I want to use it on msn, etc

Every time i open the Camera Capture Utility, i get an error message appearing telling me that an attempt to initialise the camera has failed.

Anybody got any suggestions, other than disabling/enabling the camera in Device Manager, because that doesn't work.

I had exactly the same problem with my VGN-FE41M, running Vista Premium. Tried reinstalling a couple of times; hoped that the new Camera Capture Utility might solve it, but no luck. After using MSN or Skype, the cam just would not return to normal. Seems that Vaio built-in cams are no use. I went back to my faithful Logitech Quickcam - works fine; at least, I can steer it to point where I want it.
I remain totally unimpressed by the built in cam.
