Linux running Xfree with ATI IGP 345

Hi,
does anybody know how to run Xfree (under linux) with this ati driver? I have a crash problem.

I have a PCG-FR415S with WinXp and debian 3.0 (kernel 2.4) on it. I'll upgrade to kernel 2.6 soon but I don't know if this is the solution of my linux problems..

Use open-source drivers and switch from Xfree to Xorg. Tweaking xorg.conf may help. Once that's done, you can now insert pi in any sony's VAIO laptop.
