no wireless connection

can someone help me, i purchased my sony viao last week i tried to use it today i cant connect to my wireless.

Have you checked the wireless switch (usually front right on VAIO's) is set to the on position.?

Have you checked that wireless LAN is enabled in the Vaio Smart Network utility.?
