PC Cards

Good morning, long time since I was last on forum - moving house etc.

My question is regarding the acquisition of a PC card for my Vaio PCG-Z1SP laptop (bit long in the tooth I know but still going strong). The reason for exploring the use of such a card is to try and update the wireless capability of the present WHLAN802.11b presently installed in the unit.

If what I am trying to do is possible, any ideas where I might purchase the card would be helpful please.

regards Gyron

Hi Gyron - good to hear from you again.  Hope the house move went OK?

What wireless standard are you trying to upgrade the wireless to?

Most dual band or wireless N dongles are these days are vey small and connect to the USB ports - you will find loads on Amazon.

However, a Wireless N PC Card , although rarer, can still be found.

Give us a bit more information and I'm sure someone can help further.
