Vaio CS11S battery

Hi

I've been trying to find a new battery for my CS11S - Sony Customer Service directed me to the 4sony website but even there I can't see the right model battery - it's a VGP-BPS13/S. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it - I know there are batteries of that model available on ebay but I'm wary of the quality there.

Hi JenniferDav,

You are correct to be wary of batteries offered on ebay and other on-line sites as we have had reports of BIOS tweeks provided with the battery bricking machines.

I suggest that you call 0207 365 2413 for advice on the availability of compatible genuine batteries for your machine.

I did ring Sony and they directed me to the 4sony.co.uk website, but I still couldn't find a compatible battery there.

If you Google for "genuine sony vgp-bps13/s", you will find many hits.

Just check the battery is genuine, new and from a reputable source.
