Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-K15

Hi,
Hope someone can help me.
I need the drivers for the above DVD drive for my Vaio VGN FS215Z Laptop.
I have the Recovery Disks, but as the drive is not recognised by the Device manager, they are no good!
Any help gratefully received!

Hi ray.cal and welcome to Club Vaio.

The Drivers for the CD/DVD-ROM drive are generic to Windows and are found (in XP) in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers

Drivers are unlikely to be your problem. What is the exact message in Device Manager? Is there a yellow warning triangle against the drive? If yes, double-click on the drive and look for an Error Code and let us know what it is.

If the drive is missing from Device Manager then it is probably a hardware problem.
