Reinstall Stock Video Card

Hey, I have a VAIO FS515H.

i recently had to reformat my hard drive because of a operation system issue (i tried to upgrade to Vista ultimate and failed). Basically i need to reinstall my video card. I downloaded the driver from the website but have no idea how to install it, there are no intructions.

Did you use the Vaio recovery disc's to re-install the original XP and applications on your Vaio.?

I would try an updated driver direct from Intel for your Intel 915GM graphics.

Read the ReadMe files for installation.

I would have done but I'm currently in a completely different city to my recovery disc.

Hi Phoenix240588,

for future reference your Vaio has a hidden HDD recovery partition, if the recovery partition is still present Start your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo screen press F10 repeatedly this normally would start the recovery process..
