Hi guys, last night I was watching a show on my sony laptop and the show started to freeze,the laptop itself started to act very strangely, systems wouldnt shut down properly, wouldnt even let me run task manager. I restarted it and it screensaver appeared but it would not let me click any icons, upon restarting it again, it wouldnt go past a screen that said
> start up repair (recomended)
> Start windows normally
I tried both options, both unsuccesfully, start up repair screen states that its unsuccesfull upon repair and the second option keeps reverting back to the first screen. No physical damage, never dropped, I recently sent my laptop aware to sony and had to restore alot of previously used systems, would this have effected it? I really dont want to restore factory settings as it will take a long time to restore all my programs etc.... any advice would be greatley appreciated, tried safe mode but to no avail!
