USB ports not working

All my USB ports have stopped working (during downloading of camera images). Have tried uninstalling all usb controllers but without success. Any ideas? PCV RS602

Have you tried the USB Ports on the back of your RS602? Ports on the front are not connected directly to the motherboard and the connecting wires have been known to disconnect.

In addition to the USB Controllers, try double-clicking on each of the USB Root Hubs listed in Device Manager.

Under the General Tab - is the Device Status OK? Are there any warnings or errors?
Under the Power Tab - is 500mA available? Are there two ports available?
Is power available through the USB Ports?

You could try uninstalling the Root Hubs but I can't think of any other bright ideas.

If you Google for "My USB Ports have stopped working", you will get 800,000 hits and no easy answers.

Have followed your suggestions but there are no warnings of any problems- just dead usb ports!
