Icf c1pj Clock radio noisy adapter problem

Hi, I finally bought the icf c1pj clock radio but unfortunately the adapter makes a low humming noise when plugged in which indicates poor quality or defetctiveness.

Is there a solution I wonder or should I ask for a replacement?

If the humming noise is causing concern then it would probably be best to ask for a replacement.
