What is AVLS ?

Hi Sony Team ! I have a fab Sony MP3 player but don't have the instructions so I don't know what this (AVLS) message means except that I can't turn my MP3 up above 2/3rds volume.

Also, can you send me a link to download the operating instructions Please ?

I have a Red NWZ-B163 & want to turn it up more than 2 thirds, but cannot due to the AVLS being on ?

Are you sure AVLS is on?

In the manual for your model series it says there are only two modes for AVLS,

they are AVLS ON and AVLS OFF (which is the default setting.)

Check which mode your walkman is in:

If it says AVLS ON then just select AVLS OFF and that will turn it off.
