I want to send photos directly from my camera (Sony DSC-HX400V) to my Smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S9). I have installed the PlayMemories Mobile App on my phone. I tried to view the video for setup but it seems to say I have to install some software on my camera as well --- how do I do that, please?! Also, I cannot find a "QR Code" that is mentioned in the manual. Where do I look for that?

Sorry to be thick... I have had the camera for almost a year but just downloaded the big manual and had it printed and bound. Still no joy! Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

UPDATE: I've managed to get my camera to connect to my PC. It took awhile, but finally said "Registered" and has my correct WiFi etc. When I try to "Connect to PC" however, it can't do it. It just says "Connecting..." for a long time, then says "Connected to the access point. Cannot connect to the computer to be saved."  Any ideas?
