Nougat Upgrade and Sony Companion issues

My Z4 tab just got upgraded wih Nougat, but it kept crashing and I decided to do a factory reset and clean instal with Sony Companion.

Sony Companion would not connect to the server, which I uninstalled and reinstalled with the new version. But Sony Companion has been initialising for 45 mins now. (Tab battery is 100%)

What's going on? Any tips?

it will take long to perform a software repair with Xperia Companion, just be a bit patient
