BDP S380 cannot play MKV Files

I have a BDP S380 Bluray player, even though in the manual (page 24) it says it can play MKV but when I tried that it does not work, although I can see the file name and the format, but it just wont play.

Is there something wrong with my player, or with the setting?

Ok, sorry since I bought this in the Netherlands so I thought I post it here.

But anyway I follow your advice and post it in the UK forum.

it works fine after I updated the firmware.
