Reduced battery life after updating to oreo

My previous screen on time while on Nouget was around 5-6 hours, but after the Oreo update it has redured to about 3-4. I have to turn on the stamina mode to get a decent battery life out of it and I'm not a big fan of the stamina mode.

Hope Sony will fix the battery issue asap, at least by the end of march.

Maybe the solution lies in here but I think a bit of patience to let battery management settle is worth the try.

I have the same problem, after Oreo, the battery drains so quick, in only 1 hour I lost 17% from a fully night charge to 83% and the use was only to read 10 minutes my emails.

Please Sony help us ASAP

Same here, lots issues after oreo update.

Most annoying is battery issues, drain very fast.

Please Sony fix this.. Updates ruin everything

Use third-party apps ro manage your applications. I use Greenify usually. I can tell I have twice battery compare to android noughat in normal use.
