Hello!
I have a Sony Xperia XZ2 mobile device, and my headphones are stopped working, and i dont really know why..
There was a software update, i installed it, and the headphone worked just fine, but after 2-3days later, they dont worked anymore.
I tested my headphones(jack) on my laptop, and its working.
I'm used a jack to type-C adapter (from Sony), but that doesnt seem to work anymore.
I tried an adapter from apple, i plugged in to the mobile, and everything worked for the first try, i heard music from my headphones.
The next time i plugged in the same way, but i didnt heard any sound, and a "Xperia Transfer Mobile"
app popped up, and its trying to copy all of my data to an sd-card to save it..
I dont know what to do to make my headphones work again, please help if you encountered a similar issue, and know the answer, i just want to play music on my headphone again.
Is there any lint buildup inside the usb c port?
That's a very common reason for this happening.

I tried to clean it, but still not working.
It worked with the apple adapter for one time, but not with the Sony, so i dont think this is the issue.
Hmm, that's very odd.
Do you have any issues with the port if say doing a file transfer to a pc?

No, i dont have issues with that.
I dont have problem with charging it neither
So my mobile port seems good to me.
It would seem that way indeed.
Have you done a factory reset or repair installation using Xperia companion yet? (Back up first)
Or tried in safe mode to see if you have same issue?
