UCH10 would work with Xperia XZ fast charging?

Can somebody confirm if UCH10 Fast Charger would work with Xperia XZ? Thanks.

The charger that is included in the box of XZ is not that fast when it comes to charging. It is way to far compared to my previous z5 premium charger.

Yes it does activate fast charging.
Not sure if included as contents vary by market.

You can use the UCH10 charger to charge your Xperia XZ. UCH10 is a QuickCharge 2.0 charger which the XZ supports.

Maybe I would just buy the UCH10 instead.

Don't waste your money on the UCH12W. It doesn't work any faster than the UCH10 on the XZ. So yes, for now, use/buy the UCH10 charger instead. It's over half the price too. (Currently £19.99 for the UCH10 and £44.99 for the UCH12W. UK prices).

The UCH12W does 'rapid charge' QuickCharge 2.0 devices though, (like my Z3 Tablet Compact and Z4 Tablet), which leaves the impression Sony have not activated the QuickCharge 3.0 feature on the XZ.

i've just had a UCH12W charger replaced by Sony for this reason and its just the same with the new one.

So i can only assume Sony haven't activated that feature yet on the phone. Qualcomm say it's up to the manufacturer to enable the feature. Why Sony haven't done so yet I honestly don't know and can only speculate. They advertise the feature after all!

But I have wasted a lot of time and money on this and wouldn't want anyone else to do the same.

Hi, I'd also like to add that I've bought two quick chargers for my xperia Xz but none of them seem to charge the phone faster as advertised. Quite disappointing spent a fair amount of money trying to activate a feature I specifically bought the phone for. Maybe I should stop advising people to buy the phone

ULTIMATE SOLUTION:

NEVER buy a SONY phone again;plus, convince all folks out there not to buy  SONY. 

THEY don't care about their customers.
