I can able to find some black dots while using the camera.. I'm sure that there is no dust on camera lens and dead pixels in display..

Did anyone faced same issue..

Cant see the photo but i think this seems like a issue which you will have to visit the sony repair centre to fix.

I experience that too, after i put my phone in the swimming pool, which is a bad idea because my xperia z just stop working after 3mins in the pool, so i sent it to sony service center and it took them 3 week to return my phone, they fixed my battery and camera that cost me $100. Now I'm facing a new problem, sometimes my loud speaker does'nt work.

Hi all,

I noticed that my photos have these same black dots in them. It is deffinitely a sensor defect. So I'm currently checking what options I have to get it repaired.

Is this problem covered by waranty? As it is obviously not caused by a usage error.

it's not water proof or dust proof it's called water resistance and dust resistance which means phone can handle these for some time but your problem is not because of this it's because a camera failure creating the dots even eye is clean it still see them some how, i had mine changed under guarantee by my carrier so it didn't cost me anything to have it repaired

Infuriating that a phone of this magnitude and expense should have such a common problem.
This was happening in mid 2013 so I would have thought the new Z's would have been fixed to alleviate this problem.

Come on Sony you knew what the problem was so surely the new release phones should not experience this annoying "black dots" issue.

Hi guys i have also this problem in my zl i went to sony service centre they understood my problem and replaced my phone and gave me a new handset within 10 days
