I have just bought the sony bloggie and it is not registering on my computer when I connect the USB.

Can someone help please? The orange light beside the on/off button is flashing but there is no indication on the screen of the camera OR in 'my computer' that the USB is connected.

Hello again

Thanks for confirming your exact model of camera - now that I am aware of this I see that there is no option to remove the battery as it is built-in so you're not going crazy!

I had a look at the manual for your camera:

http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/4261655121.pdf

This model has something referred to as a 'Force Quit' that should help to reset it and this is done by holding down the ON/OFF button for seven seconds. Please let me know if you have any success with this.

Thanks,

Simon

Hello 0370673 - Welcome to the Sony Forums

If you are able to remove the battery, try doing this and then leave the battery out of the camera for 10-20 mins to see if it resets the system. Let me know if this doesn't work and please also confirm the model number of your Bloggie so I can look into this further.

Thanks,

Simon

There is always a switch you can find at the side to slide the back cover for you to remove the battery.

I have no idea what's going on. This device has bested me and I'm usually really good with cameras / phones / laptops etc.

I can't open the back of the bloggie, no matter how much I examine it. Also, I have read through the handbook and still can't work it out.

I may be losing my mind - any help greatly appreciated!!!
