Hello, Is there any program that I can use to check the speed my fans running at, I have a AR21M and the fan has started to make a clicking noise and a slight burning smell, If it needs replacing how would I go about doing that?

Thanks used sisw and speed fan, Neither of which tell me about the fan status, But my temps are Cpu 70oc GPU diode 84.5oc

How do I get into the fan to clean it? Do I have to take the laptop completly apart?

Hi,

I would try using compressed air from a can to try to clear the cooling vents. Quite honestly your temperatures are within normal limits under load.

I don't think the Sony ACPI provides fan information.
