Handycan DCR-PC120E Cassette Mechanism Jammed

Cassette will not eject.  Power is OK and everything else works including playback from trapped cassette.

I am having the same problem and was thinking of opening the cassette door, but I am not an expect on this and I might damange the whole handycam. Any help, please?

Hi

This is often a power supply problem.

Try removing the battery and powering the camera using the AC cord connection.

If that fails there mustbe a physical blockage which needs a repair, but usually if the tape plays ok it can be fixed with the AC method.
